The Coal Exchange Emsworth

The Coal Exchange Pub in the centre of Emsworth only a couple of minutes drive from Thornham Marina has just started serving food for extended hours during the day and to 4.00pm on weekends. This is great news for sailors as finding a place to eat in the afternoon after finishing on the boat has always been a problem in Emsworth. We at the marina know this from working with the tides, we always seem to miss the normal lunchtime cut off of about 2.00pm during the spring tides on a Sunday or Monday.

The Coal Exchange is situated on South Street in the centre of Emsworth close to the water. There is a large public car park next door so parking is easy. The pub itself is tradtional in style serving beer by George Gale & Co. and a garden for those sunny days. The food ranges from snacks, sandwiches and salads to full on meals and of course Sunday Lunch.

Although the Coal Exchange is already known for the quality of it's food and friendly service the additional food serving hours offer a very useful option for eating when you have finished out on the water.
